Former boxing star Mike Tyson announced The Kind Music Festival, what he’s described as “the next generation of music festivals” that embraces the legalization of recreational cannabis use.
The Kind Music Festival
The event took place on Feb. 23 at the Tyson Ranch Resort, a one-stop entertainment hub, and marijuana enthusiasts ultimate playground. According to the official website for the event, the 412-acre entertainment complex features luxurious glamping (that glamorous camping if you didn’t know) and will eventually house a cannabis research and development facility.

The main headliner for the show was R&B singer Miguel. Other performers included Starcrawler, Yonee, and All of My Friends Hate me. When the line-up was first announced, Chicano Batman was scheduled to entertain. , after a crowd-surfing incident at Coachella in 2014, he was sued two years later for allegedly harming a woman while he surfed the crowd at the world-famous festival. Rap artist Ferg formerly known as A$AP Ferg replaced Chicano Batman on the line-up instead.
In addition to supported cannabis use, epic music, a scene-stealing dessert landscape, there was food trucks to curb munchies and some pretty epic games and places to chill.
